Bilt Rent Day Promotion November 2024: Hilton Gold Status Match

If you pay rent, you need to know about Bilt.

The Bilt Mastercard is a no annual fee credit card that lets you earn rewards (up to 100,000 points a year!) when you pay your rent by credit card.

In addition to earning rewards for paying rent, they offer plenty of other nice features and promotions. One of them is called Bilt Rent Day, which is a rotating promotion active on the first of every month.

We will update this post each month with the latest Rent Day promotions as we learn about them.

What is Bilt Rent Day?

Bilt runs a different promotion on the first of each month, known as Bilt Rent Day. The promotion varies each month.

They are generally active from 12:00 AM Eastern time until 11:59 PM Pacific time to encompass the entire United States, so you technically have 27 hours to take advantage of the offer.

November 2024: 100% Transfer Bonus to British Airways Avios

For November’s Bilt Day, you now get a 100% transfer bonus when transferring to British Airways Avios on November 1st.

You can also redeem your points for Martha Stewart merchandise in a home collection collaboration.

November 2024: Earn bonus 2-6x Bilt Points

This offer is included each month (as far as I can remember).

Typically, you earn 1x on rent payments, 2x on travel, and 3x on dining when you use the card 5 times each statement period. On Rent Day purchases, you earn double the rewards on dining, travel, and all other points, excluding rent (on which you still earn 1x points).

That’s 6x on dining, 4x on travel, and 2x on everything except for rent.

They also limit you to 10,000 bonus points each month; you still need to use your card at least five times to earn these points.

⚠️ Remember this big change from October 2024, starting last month they limited the amount of bonus points you earn to 1,000 – down from 10,000.

October 2024: Hilton Gold Status Match

For October’s Bilt Day, you can now activate a status match with Hilton that lasts until December 31, 2024.

All Bilt members also have the ability to upgrade their status to Hilton Honors Diamond.

All Bilt members who stay 8 nights at a Hilton property before December 31, 2024 will keep Hilton Gold status until March 31, 2026.

The status match opt-in period is from October 1st, 2024 at 12:00am ET until October 2nd, 2:59am ET in the Bilt Rewards app or website.

September 2024: Avianca LifeMiles & Virgin Points Transfer Bonus

For September’s Bilt Day, there are two transfer bonuses.

First, all Bilt members get a 50% transfer bonus when they transfer points to Avianca LifeMiles. The transfer bonus is available only from September 1, 2024 at 12:00am ET to September 2, 2024 at 2:59am ET.  

Bilt members can also get a transfer bonus with Virgin Atlantic Flying Club or Virgin Red depending on their status. The transfer bonus is live September 1st, 2024 at 12:00am ET until September 2nd, 2:59am ET.

The bonus is:

• Platinum Members – 100% bonus
• Gold Members – 60% bonus
• Silver Members – 40% bonus
• Blue Members – 20% bonus (minimum transfer of 2,000 Bilt points)

August 2024: Virgin Voyages Cruise Benefits

For August 2024, the Rent Day benefit is a bit limited – applies to those who book a cruise on Virgin Voyages:

• Unlimited premium wifi
• Two (2) specialty coffees per day
• $100 bar tab credit
• Complimentary laundry
• Unlimited group workouts
• Essential drinks
• Access to entertainment and events onboard
• Access to an exclusive cocktail event
• Priority boarding at embarkation
• Dedicated support

July 2024: Transfer Points Bonus to Alaska Airlines

It’s been a few months since they’ve offered a transfer bonus Rent Day benefit but it’s back for fans of Alaska Airlines and oneworld® Alliance airlines! These include British Airways, American, Cathay Pacific, Iberia, and more. They service 900 destinations in 170 territories.

This transfer bonus is live July 1st Midnight to July 2nd, 2:59 AM ET and given on the first 50,000 Bilt points per member (if you transfer more, there is no bonus).

The bonus is based on your status:

• Platinum Members – 100% bonus
• Gold Members – 75% bonus
• Silver Members – 50% bonus
• Blue Members – 25% bonus (minimum transfer of 2,000 Bilt points)

There is also an Elite Status Match from June 25th to July 1st if you transfer 10,000 points. Platinum members can activate Alaska MVP Gold Status. Gold members can active Alaska MVP Status. The status is good until December 31, 2024. Unfortunately, if you do this, the 10,000 points transferred won’t be eligible for the transfer bonus above.

June 2024: Neighborhood Dining Expansion

Bilt will be offering higher points when you dine at Neighborhood Dining restaurants (about 20,000 of them listed in the app):

• Bilt Platinum Members and Gold Members will earn 10X points
• Silver Members and Blue Members will earn 5X points

Go to the Neighborhood tab on the app and you can look for restaurants and activate the offer.

They are also offering exclusive brunches starting May 29th:

• Book a seat for yourself and your guests starting at $50 or 4,000 Bilt Points per person
• Available on May 29th in the Bilt app at 12:00 ET for Platinum Members, 12:10 ET for Gold Members, 12:20 for Silver Members, and 12:30 for Blue Members
• The Bilt Brunch Series will be available in the following cities: New York, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles
• Check the Bilt Rewards app on May 29th for full location details, and head back on the 29th to book.

May 2024: Private Dining Experiences

For May 2024, they are offering private dining experiences:

If you live in New York, Miami, Seattle, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Atlanta, Dallas, or Boston you have access to a private dining experience.

Bilt has a list of participating restaurants where you can enjoy unique chef’s tastings, wine pairings, and omakase experiences alongside fellow Bilt Members for a family-style meal.

• Book a seat for $150 or 15,000 Bilt Points for yourself and a guest. 
• Available on April 26th in the Bilt app at 12:00 ET for Platinum Members, 2:10 ET for Gold Members, 12:20 for Silver Members, and 12:30 for Blue Members.

April 2024: More Fitness Partners + Complimentary Classes

Bilt always had partnerships with SoulCycle and Y7, but they’ve now added AKT, BFT, CycleBar, Pure Barre, Row House, and Rumble Boxing.

As part of Bilt Day, when you book an upcoming fitness class, you will get a complimentary class credit when you are in the Blue or Silver tier. Gold and Platinum Status members will get 2 free class credits per booking. You can use the free credit within 90 days of April 1st.

You can also book free classes for Rent Day, limited availability so log into your Bilt account and see what is still available. (Update: these classes have all been booked up)

March 2024: Earn 2,000 bonus points linking cards

(For March, they used a March Madness bracket and had everyone vote for which promotion would win out… and it was this one)

Unlike in other months, which featured point transfer bonuses, March 2024 features a bonus when you link another credit or debit card to your Bilt account. You get 1,000 points per card for up to two cards, which had to be previously not linked to your account.

If you were Gold or Platinum, you could also decide to take the runner-up reward, which was earning 5X at grocery stores.

February 2024: Transfer Points to Air Canada Aeroplan

Depending on your Bilt status level, you can get a 75% to 150% bonus on points transferred to Air Canada’s Aeroplan program:

• Blue: 75% bonus
• Silver: 100% bonus
• Gold: 125% bonus
• Platinum: 150% bonus

Transfers are made in 1,000-point increments, and Blue members must transfer at least 2,000 points.

January 2024: Transfer Points to Air France/KLM, Virgin Atlantic, IHG

Depending on your Bilt status level, you can get a 75% to 150% bonus on points transferred to Air France/KLM Flying Blue, Virgin Atlantic Flying Club, and IHG One Rewards:

• Blue: 75% bonus
• Silver: 100% bonus
• Gold: 125% bonus
• Platinum: 150% bonus

Transfers are made in 1,000-point increments, and Blue members must transfer at least 2,000 points.

There were also two other perks—$5 in Lyft ride credit when you link your Lyft account and an Amazon perk. When you add your Bilt card to your Amazon account, you can use points to pay for purchases, and on January Rent Day, your points are worth 50% more.

December 2023: Black Friday Shopping, 10x on Dining, Soul Cycle Rent Day Rides

The December 2023 Rent Day period was special because it was longer than typical because it included a promotion during Black Friday. From November 23rd (Black Friday) to November 27th, you earned 2x on up to $20,000 of spend in all 1x categories. You also earned 10x on dining during this time period. On Bilt Rent Day, December 1st, you earned 16x on dining.

Finally, perhaps to help you work off Thanksgiving, there were 10 complimentary bikes at 56 SoulCycle locations for a free 45-minute workout.
